To publish with EP you must adhere to the following guidelines.

If you intend to become professional and utilize our publishing company, or if you would like to become professional and have your poetry considered for future EP books then there is one simple task that you must abide by.  That is the task of correct formatting of your poetry. 

Please do not send us your poems or manuscripts without first conferring with EP staff. 

*Each poem must be saved as a Microsoft WORD  “ .doc”  and be delivered to EP as an attachment to an email.

*You MUST include in the body of EACH email with a poem or manuscript attached,

   Your screen name,

   Your ACTUAL name

   Your complete contact information.

   The name of the poem or manuscript being sent

   **USE your spell/grammar check on your poems.

* YOUR MS WORD SETTINGS:

*Black text - white paper  (no color text/no color backgrounds)

*Text type: Times New Roman  size: 12 is a good basic text. The  rule of thumb is to make it as legible as possible

*In Word, Check under File/page setup

Set margins to:

Top  1.00 bottom 1.00

Left 1.00  right  1.00

Gutter  0.2   gutter position: left

Under "Layout"

Header and footer to .5 

*select Black text - white paper  (no color text/no color backgrounds or tables)

Do not copy the poem off the site and paste it into an email as your submission.

Do not copy the poem off the site and paste it into Word without removing the the text boxes, tables, color backgrounds, etc.

Do not use any method of saving the file other than .doc  in Microsoft Word
